WELCOME TO THE MIZ METRO SHOW OFFICIAL BLOG!!

This is the beginning of an amazing journey for me. There will be daily updates and I will be recording the process I'm going through creating my own show, "The Miz Metro Show" and give you the inside scoop- on everything going on in my world. There will be a mix of industry news, interviews, bloopers clips, specials, and exclusive contests! Be sure to stay tuned and spread the word!!!

Artist Statement

Miz metro is my creative umbrella for all things music, art and
cultural. I consider it a media brand, one that I hope people feel
like they are able to develop a relationship with. Which is why I want
to make "The Miz Metro Show" for my senior class project. My
background has set me up to be able to take on the work load that goes
into starting a media network. I currently manage a beautiful store
front gallery on the lower east side of Manhattan, where I curate art
shows and create events. The show that is currently up is called
TRASHION which I titled after the single off my debut album
"UNLIMITED" that was just released over the summer.

I studied Television Production and the History of Sitcoms with Andrew
Susskin ( creator of married with Children) at Hunter college before I
transferred to Purchase. I also studied acting at LaGuardia H.S of The
Performing arts where I graduated with honors from the drama
department. I have acted in various national commercials, voiceovers,
and independent films. My background in the entertainment business has
prepared me to take on the creation and production of my own online TV
show.

There will be a variety of distribution avenues with certain
guidelines that must be met.
I'm planning on taking this semester to experiment and gather as much
content as possible, to start editing segments and develop ideas. I
plan to distribute the episodes in the spring semester. The marketing
will be a part of the on going dialog with the show. There will be
regular segments, in every episode and I'm going to sing a 16 bar
blues at the end of every episode as a signature goodbye.

I'm going to make a production schedule, and keep a journal to
document my progress. I will need to create a website to put the
videos on, and research the best video cast services. Hosting may also
be an issue depending on volume. I am going to distribute the episodes
in full and into different segments, so the people featured in
whatever segment they are in can use it for press. This will help get
the show out to more markets, my goal is to build a global fan base.
The show is going to be like an online magazine, I'm going to research
similar ideas that already exist to gain a better understanding of
what I'm going to need to do to make this work.
